National Society Sons of Colonial New England

Objectives:
To collect and preserve records and relics of the history and genealogy of New England prior to July 4, 1776;
To prepare and distribute publications of all kinds relating to the history and genealogy of New England prior to July 4, 1776;
To commemorate and celebrate events in the history of New England;
To study the meaning of our colonial New England heritage as related to the problems of our day;
To inculcate patriotism; and
To engage in other related educational, historical, genealogical, patriotic, literary and social activities related to colonial New England.
Requirements:
Membership is open to men age 18 years or more who can prove lineal descent from an ancestor born in any of the present New England States of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut prior to the adoption of the Declaration of Independence providing applicants are of high moral character and do not advocate the overthrow of the US Government by force or violence.
